  • Appeared before committees of the Australian Senate. Those appearances have been concerned with questions of breach of Parliamentary Privilege in the context of defamation actions involving members of the Australian Senate and the extent of privilege
  • Retained by the Queensland Cane Growers Council in 1984. In that capacity, provided advice to The Cane Growers Council concerning any matters which involved the canegrowers of Queensland. Those matters include Cane Awards, sugar industry concerns, valuation matters, tribunal disputes, contract and negligence matters, cane prices disputes, local board award disputes and generally any legal matter which involves the growers
  • Advised and appeared for individuals and community groups on a pro bono basis
